By turns hilarious, strange, disturbing, and arresting, Ionesco’s savage commentary on the human condition is a classic 20th century drama. The citizens of a provincial town are gradually transforming into rhinoceroses. One by one, they are forced to confront the nature of their humanity, morality, and individuality.
